I am not good in saving money, when i received my salary I allocate priorities to my bills first especially to my loan, rent, insurances, food, fare, mobile phones and other miscellaneous.
What remains of my salary? Well of course I tried to save it! But if i can see it in my savings account and access to it, i can just easily transfer my savings' money to my normal debit card easy as 1,2,3 especially with the use of mobile app...
Yeah, Salary - Expenses = Savings
So what happens? Nothing will remain... My account will be empty, big fat ZERO. Maybe some pence hahaha
And I will be really happy if I have some money left before the next salary arrives.
I know alot of people are the same as me, we really need someone to teach and guide as especially in regards to money matters.
And í'm very thankful that people such as Bro. Bo Sanchez from truly rich club, Allan Ngo, Omeng Tawid, Aya Laraya of pesos and sense, ANC on the money, pinoyinvestors and alot more which are really helpful and encouraging.
Now that I'm a TRULY RICH CLUB member , i follow the method of SALARY - SAVINGS = EXPENSES or the 10-20-70 RULE. 10% for tithes (charities, church), 20% for savings and investments and 70% for expenses which I can enjoy.
When my salary arrived at the end of the month, I put away my tithes and savings and just spend the rest of whats left. It's really hard at first cause I will have some excuses such as I need to reward myself and buy clothes or eat in the restaurant, our movie dates with hubby and so much more.
But what matters most now is I'm starting to save, it might not be big enough for now but it's a start and hopefully I will continue saving and investing with discipline and perseverance.
